Age Limit:- The age of the candidates applying for the position of Apprentice should not less than 15 years and should not more than 24 years for ITI passed out candidates and the age of the candidate should not less than 15 years and should not more than 22 years for Non ITI candidates.
Qualification:- Candidates applying for the position of Apprentice should have
- For ITI passed out candidates (NCVT only):- Candidate should possess ITI examination with certificate in the relevant trade.
- For Matriculation passed out candidates (Non-ITI only):- Candidate should possess matriculation / 10th class in +2 examination system or equivalent examination from recognized board.
Selection Procedure:- Selection of the candidates applying for the position of Apprentice will be on the basis of marks obtained in the matriculation examination or 10th class in the +2 class examination system and ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
Age Relaxation:- The upper age limit is relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 10 years for candidates belonging to PWD communities.
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
ii) By 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC communities.
iii) By 10 years for candidates belonging to PWD communities.
Application Fee:- Candidates applying for the position of Apprentice have to pay application Rs 100/-. No fee for SC / ST / PH / EXSM / EXWMN / Minorities / Economically backward class through bank demand draft on any nationalized bank or Indian postal order drawn in favor of FA and CAO, CLW / Chittaranjan payable at Chittaranjan.
How to apply:- Interested and eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application form along with one passport size photograph duly signed on the top by the candidate and attested by the Gazette officer, fee two self-addressed envelope size 11 x 5 duly affixed with Rs 5/- envelope stamp on each envelope / self-attested and also attested by a Gazette officer on all the relevant copies of documents only by ordinary post to the Principal, Technical training Centre, CLW/ Chittaranjan, P.O:- Chittaranjan, District Bardhhaman (West Bengal), Pin code:- 713331 on or before 24th August 2015.
